The sofa is my spot.

I have a corner of the couch. And my boyfriend has his big lazy boy in front of the PS3.
I like to make sure that all my furniture (chairs and couches) are nap-worthy. If you can't doze off in it, it isn't worth having!
I find that a lot of our friends come over just to hang out and end up dozing off in a chair or on the couch. It's not because we're boring hosts (we hardly play 'host' when they're over because we're all so close), it's because we like to make sure they're cozy and comfortable (especially for tv/movie watching)

The couch in my den. It is structured yet comfy and the room is a warm cocoa color which makes for a cozy relaxing retreat.

I agree with revolution9 about the napworthiness. I always shop for furniture at the most off peak I can, so I can easily curl up on the furniture without feeling foolish. That said, I love my leather couch, always feels clean; except it can be cold even in AZ, so I always have my throw nearby.

A comfy chair is always a pleasure -- as long as it doesn't mean there's no other comfortable place in the house to sit.

I live alone so it's all my designated space!

Having said that, I like to read in one sunny spot by the radiator in the winter. I like to watch movies on my laptop in bed. I like to lie on the sofa and nap (in fact I bought my sofa carefully for this purpose). In the summer the front porch is the place to be.

I only wish I could be at home more instead of at work all the time.
