apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Cube 6 by Naho Matsuno

051408cube6a.jpgOoh! What's in the box? This unassuming wood box is approximately a foot square. However, pull apart a side...

051408cube6b.jpg... and you'll find it actually reveals 6 small stools! Designed by Naho Matsuno, it's called "Cube 6". 051408cube6c.jpgThey're made of birch plywood and maple. A great concept for impromptu entertaining in a small space. 051408cube6d.jpgThere's also a three stool version as well. See more at Naho Matsuno's website.

For anyone who knows the movie "Seven" the first thing that comes to mind is - - I hope it's not Gwyneth Paltrow's head!

There is a little phrase that runs through my head occasionally, I have no idea where it came from, but it fits here perfectly.

Inside, outside, upside down.

2 stools have their legs going on the inside, 2 outside and 1 upside down.

I think that the market for this may be small businesses rather than individuals. It'd allow them to stack things more effectively or make changes to seating on the fly.
