A few weeks ago, Laure pointed out some ways of doing Modern Farm yourself. Our home is so not Modern Farm that we found it appealing. Since we're considering making some small changes, we thought a change of coffee table would be a good and inexpensive start, something that's totally opposite what we currently have. We'd never noticed the >Shelton Collection by Pottery Barn until we got the latest catalogue and saw it on sale...
The soft driftwood grey finish, the colour of wood which has been weathered by salt water, has a versatility that we could easily see mixing with the wood, painted and metallic furniture finishes already in our own home. We're especially eyeing the end-of-bed modular storage pieces. We could see pushing two of the bigger pieces together (or two of the smaller pieces, depending on the size of your living room) to create a large and versatile coffee table, perfect for gathering around to play board games or laying out an array of food for friends to snack on during Sunday's Emmy broadcast.
I really like the idea of an end-of-the-bed open storage piece. We've been considering getting a bench, but this is so much more useful - while not as visually heavy as a chest or trunk.

The large end table piece is exactly what i need in terms of dimensions! But, I hate the color. Anyone have a suggestion for something similar with more color options?

Sorry by which i mean demention of about 40in to 45 inches wide, 12 to 17 inches deep, and about 20 to 30 inches high, that has drawers. Credenzas seem like the obvious solution but they tend to be either too deep or not have drawers.

how did I miss the drift grey line from PB? I was wondering why it was taking West Elm so long to make more products in this stain!

i don't know why west elm hasn't produced a beautiful round coffee table with a glass top in this shade of wood. my perfect coffee table search would be OVER!

for the love of god. you've got 5 links in that 2 paragraph post, all of which point back to the at site, including the one that's broken & goes nowhere except to a 404 error. look. carefully. it's not that difficult to put a link into a post that goes to what you're talking about. in this case, sale items at pottery barn.
it's too bad that a site with so much to offer and such potential seems to be on a 'let's see how much we can cram on the site' kick. have you never heard of quality, not quantity? geesh.

I just wanted to say that I think you guys at AT are doing a great job, and I'm sorry that you catch so much slack from these arrogant readers...half of them seem to think they are on some sort of pedestal.
I really appreciate all that you guys do! Thank you!
