Best Products: Luca Nichetto's Hook Box

1170264693_anteprima_3.jpgA while back our friends at AT: San Francisco put together their list of Top 5 wall hooks. We'd like to add another one to the list...

1170264693_foto_2.jpgSubmitted by my friend Peter (via MoCo Loco): designer Luca Nichetto's Hook Box. With its dual purpose form, this ceramic wall mounted coat/towel hook makes for an excellent storage unit for your bathroom essentials. Or it would work equally well in an entry, a useful storage unit for coats and a place to drop keys and loose change into upon arriving home.

Hey gang, I'm still waiting for a reply back from both the designer and manufacturer about US retail locations or an online source that will sell from abroad. I will post as soon as I get any info back.

DWR is supposed to be carrying these in the US in Nov '07. I haven't been able to get pricing info from anyone, though.

Haven't I seen these before? Aren't they something like $200 a piece? Or am I thinking of something else?

I'm in agreement with the poster who thought they looked like urinals. That was my first thought as well!

sarahjade - you are correct, although the last time i remembering seeing the price they were like 2455 or 278 or something insanely crazy like that.

first time i saw these, i wanted them, and every time after that, but they are ridiculously priced. even when dwr had them on sale they were over 100.

somebody with some pottery skills should make these and sell them on etsy
