Blu Dot Dresser

If you are a lover of Heywood Wakefield we stumbled on this series called Drift by Blu Dot that is a modern twist to the old classic. Available in a higboy, the low-6 across pictured here, as well as a nightstand.

I'm going to have to be the party pooper. For the price of this Mr & Mrs dresser ($1,499) you can buy a whole bedroom suite of Heywood Wakefield on eBay. Plus the HW is made of solid hardwood. This Blu Dot piece is made of "Hardwood veneers ... available in cherr y, and walnut." and no mention of what is UNDER the hardwood veneer. It may be a good cabinet quality plywood or the grossly inferior partcle board (or some composite in between) but I doubt it's veneer on hardwood. In any case, if you're looking for the Heywood Wakefield American Modern look than just get the real thing.
