I noticed this great white shelf unit with built in speakers that's featured on the cover August 2006 Real Simple. Come to find out, it's actually from PBTeen! This Modular Speaker Shelf works with CD and MP3 players, and has a volume knob located on the interior. It's 36"L x 6"W x 7"H and has a 10W amp. It goes for $99 and also comes in pink (currently on sale for $69.99). There is also a double shelf version. I love how Real Simple mounted it as a bedside table, which looked sleek and modern, as well as functional and space saving.
