Bedtime Reading, Medicated Water, House of the Future, and the Curve Pet Bed
Los Angeles Slinks for 01.13.09

011309atlaslinks.jpgBedding that actually reads like a book, the 11 most common chemical compounds found in US water taps, the modest size home of the architect of Disneyland's House of the Future of Tomorrowland now available for a "discount" [insert LA real estate market sense of sarcasm], and a former ICFF concept for pets is now available for purchase...

Bedtime Stories Bedding: "This blanket had several sheets containing a traditional bedtime story. Each "page" adds a layer of linen making you warmer (or cooler) and comfier hopefully guiding you and your partner into a pleasant night’s sleep. "

Top 11 Compounds in US Drinking Water: Southern Nevada Water Authority in Las Vegas screened tap water from 19 US water utilities for 51 different compounds and found 11 common compounds. That reverse osmosis water system seems like a good idea now.

Disney Architect's Home on Market: Remember the House of the Future in Tomorrowland at Disneyland? The architect's Pasadena home is on the market.

Curve Wall Mounted Pet Bed: We saw this at ICFF a couple of years ago in prototype form. We're happy to see it available for purchase now.

Love the cat bed, not the price... but if I owned my walls, I might splurge. It's the nicest looking cat bed I've ever seen, (and I love the removable covers!). The curve should even keep my cat from rolling off, as she somewhat frequently does off of my bed....

Good Grief! $199 for a cat bed? Although I must admit, I love how it looks.

funny...my classmates were talking about how we'd be out of a job if we started adding statins, beta blockers, aspirin and a good SSRI to our fluorinated water. looks like we're half-way there.

yeah, that cat bed would be super easy to IKEA hack.
