Putt Up or Shut Up FLOR rug, Coathanger Artwork, the Cardboard Office, and a Ray Kappe Architectural Beauty
Los Angeles Slinks for 11.04.08

110408atlaslinks01.jpgIt's Slinky, it's Slinky, it's fun for a girl and a boy (showing my age, aren't I?). Here are a few things we personally found of interest that we thought we'd share that fell into our miscellaneous bin (our favourite bookmarks folder)...

  • The Putt Up or Shut Up FLOR rug for decor and links/miniature putt-putt fans alike. How we'd love to see someone make a whole indoor miniature golf 9 hole course using FLOR tiles (sponsor us FLOR?!).

  • Artist Maurice Scheltens takes the mundane and creates a most beautiful mobile art piece that reminds us of fish bones.

  • Paul Coudamy's Cardboard Office reminds us that occasionally...very occasionally...we miss working in an office. Made of 4cm thick honeycomb cardboard, wood glue and tape, Coudamy's Cardboard Office is every fort building kid's dream come true in adult proportions.

  • If we didn't have reason enough to occasionally purchase a Cali/Mega lottery ticket, then we see this stunner of a residence. Designed by Ray Kappe, this hillside home is what dreams are made of (about 5 million of them, to be more specific).

Referring to the Ray Kappe house...photoshop should be illegal for real estate agents and photographers to own because they just abuse it. Look at those windows. Awful.

Nice house though.
