I can't get on board with the whole "LED lighting incorporated into home furnishings" thing. Every application I've seen so far feels forced (more like a novelty than an actual innovation) and verges on tacky. And don't get me started on the "chromatherapy" sell for the technology incorporated into bathtubs and sinks. That's just a marketing hook, and not actual design. Should your home bathroom really have similar lighting effects to that of a rave?

    Enrique--
I TOTALLY agree. I thought it was just me. It all mostly looks like the Colin Cowie making a special guest appearance on the Jetsons...

But a rave bathroom sounds kinda cool. ;)

And somewhere, in an alternate universe, small happy antelopes are gathered around sconces made from skulls of the Dutch.

P(too): I think Colin Cowie on the Jetsons might have come up with something more interesting than the products shown on the trendir site!
