Grancrete Sprayable "Concrete": Part of PopSci's Best of What's New 2005, This sets in 20 minute, and is a waterproof, fire-resistant structure that has more than twice the strength of traditional concrete and can withstand extreme temperatures without cracking.
If anyone is planning to retile their bathroom floor, I seriously urge you to consider putting those electric radiant heat mats in. We did it in our bathroom and it only cost $400 (we did the work ourselves) and it was the best $400 we ever spent. You can't imagine how comfortable a heated floor is until you feel it. On cold days we come home, take our shoes off, and stand in the bathroom to get warmed up--it feels so good!
