Phew! I wondered if I'd been corrupted by the Dorm Shelving of the Damned (now disassembled, thank gawd, and the husband wants a tansu of his own) when I hated that bed on sight. It looks like something from the Futurama Room at some Las Vegas theme hotel. I keep expecting Woody Allen to pop out of the woodwork.

how funny. i saw a really similar bed (but with less frou frou) in a store window in florence and immediately thought i needed to take a picture and send it into AT when i got back, but i didn't have my camera with me... and now it (or a relative at least) is on here, and i had forgotten about it. the one
