•
Gun Wall Vase ($35): Need we say more?
•
The Water hog: A rainwater tank that also doubles as a structural building foundation to the home. The see-through surface is a lot cooler than plain old water tanks.
•
Herb Keeper ($12.99): Not a bad idea. We keep our fresh herbs in a glass with a little water and a plastic bag over the top, but it ALWAYS spills over in the fridge. ;-(
•
Vitra Nelson Elephant Clock ($125): Couldn't be cuter. (There's a Toucan, an owl and a fish, as well)
I got the herb keeper for xmas one year. It does keep your herbs fresher, longer, but make sure change the water in the reservoir every day. If you leave it for too long, you'll get a nasty stinky swamp.
I received one for Christmas one year, too, Amanda. I am all about simplicity in the kitchen, but this is one gadget that actually gets used. And it's good for asparagus, too. Ditto on changing the water daily.
