About the bus:
As a denizen of NYC with a homelessness problem and a general lack of affordable dwellings, I've thought about getting a trailer and parking it on the street. (At least one person in NY has actually done this already.)
I grew up with money, so trailer trash is a term I fear. Still, I am willing to look at any solution that provides housing.
This bus, in particular, seems like a good way to house students, singles, and, with chaperones, the homeless. I wouldn't say no to a berth on this bus if I could share it with friends. Plus, it would be far more affordable (and good looking) than what we live in currently.
People already live in their cars here, and their cars don't have toilets or showers. A nice line of red buses would be a huge improvement to certain areas South of Market.
People that live in trailers are a lot better than people that use terms like "trailer trash."
