Re: plastic woven mats. I bought a 6'x9' blue-and-white on closeout for about 12 bucks at Urban Outfitters last year. Best purchase I've ever made as it sits in the trunk of my car, ready for the next picnic. So much more cool-looking than a standard picnic blanket--plus it takes up a lot of precious real estate when placed on the ground!
