I love this house. I've been watching for photos all over the net for months, trying to see what it looked like finished. Had no idea it would end up being over 1 million dollars though. Ouch.
Core 77 has a podcast, you can tour the whole house and hear Steve talk about it. As he says, its for the Design Within Reach types, but it is better to have a green million dollar house than a wasteful million dollar house. Maybe mass production can lower the costs in the future, when we can all drive that car I read about that produces only water vapor that you can drink. I am glad there are innovators trying to solve problems rather than ignore them.
