What is the advantage of SMALL? I don't need extra space, so why take up extra room? Our planet is small enough as is. Plus, it's much more affordable to live and design a small space.

i really like the bedroom & some of the colors especially the pops of red.

You win for the craziest (in a good way) floorplan!

interesting space, I would love to see a full house tour to see how the spaces interact with each other!

Overall not my style, maybe it's the color choice - but that is one super cool sink you got in the kitchen and the hanging lights in the bedroom inspires me to toss out my bedside tables.

Wow - I only wish that the chaise portion of the sectional didn't block off the seating area...
...becasue everything else is great!

I never get tired of that wallpaper! I second the weirdest floorplan ever and the colors aren't mine but it's so well done and it's in Denver! yay west.

Where is that wallpaper from again, I know I have seen it mentioned on here but have forgotten?

Love that you've made a crazy floor plan look completely livable. Also like the use of vertical stripes on the dining wall.

I want that sink, and the wallpaper behind the bed. I love it!
I third the crazy floorplan. That is definitely one of the more interesting ones I've seen :)

The hanging light bulbs in the bedroom are genius!

Ouch, that sucks that your bathroom is all the way in the bedroom, is that on your third floor or am I looking at the floor plan incorrectly?

Love the artwork and the bedroom.

I'm not crazy about the interior design but that floorplan certainly rocks. I wish I could get my hands on that place and make it fab!

i thought it looked really great, except the sofa. it distracts from the loveliness.

This one is a puzzler at first - here's a case where 5 pics will not adequately render the complexity, so the floor plan and elevation plan are much appreciated. It's actually on 4 levels with the dining area being kind of a platform mezzanine, right? Is there storage under there? It looks like the stripy wall extends right up into the sleeping area and would be opposite the forest wallpaper wall, with the big hanging fixture in the middle. Got it. My head hurts a bit now.
Not knowing whether Lincoln found the architecture like this or renovated to suit, I'd still have to go with super cool for maximizing an unusual footprint. I like that the walls have not been whited-out, which I imagine would be even more disorienting. The kitchen is especially nice with the disappearing effect of the midnight black surfaces and the clever corner sink. And where on earth did he find a white television? The placed looks well-planned, thoughtfully executed and sparkling new.
Although I admire the tasteful choices made with art and wall treatments, I think there's some room for improvement with textiles and decor. There's the dread beige wall-to-wall carpet everywhere without hardwood, but to be fair it looks more heathered and taupey (and less pinkish) than run-of-the-mill. The downstairs living area dominated by those large furniture pieces appears to be entirely upholstered in Ultrasuede (although there's seating for at least 9 people!). Removing either end section of the sectional and adding some metal or polished wood furniture would provide some relief and texture. More and larger patterned throw cushions would help as well.
We can't see the office end of the room with the window, but I'd say the windowless end of the downstairs wants a focal point other than the tele-hearth. The long white framed piece is nice, but a really bold mirror or large painting might bring more energy and light, as well as something to look at besides the television. The small fames and small books look a bit cluttery - if those things are important to display, why not enliven the books with interesting paper covers? Blow up and re-frame the pictures so they stand up to the scale of the furniture better.
Overall, I think this is a strong entry, but its sophisticated intricacy doesn't have the immediate flash and dazzle of some others. I hope it does well so we can see more and better views.

I'd be worried about getting tipsy at dinner and laughing a little too loudly and tipping back in my chair just a leetle too far.... :)

This one is AAAAwesome!
I second the notion of flipping my chair off the ledge - especially after a few cocktails. However, I'm sure if you live with it you get used to the space (and let the guests sit on the inside!)
I was a little disappointed when i got to the couch picture...the rest of the house is so..well.. cool! The couch was a little standard in form/fabric, and cut the space in an unusual way.
Anyway...still voted super cool.

The floor plan is amazing and the small footprint the place house is great but the interior decorating leaves a bit to be desired. those black and white stripes are quite jailhouse and the living room seems to have furniture far to large for the space.

I like the decorating a lot, very creative use of the floorplan, which I personally don't like at all because it appears to be very inconvenient.

Overall I think its cool but that couch is way to big in my opinion and not very stylish to boot.

Everything is in its place, and there's a place for everything. While tres moderne, it is not overly dramatic nor overzealous. Looks fab and comfy, not intimidating, but grand. Love it.
