Totally adorable and comfortable, it really feels livable! I guess I only gave it a 'cool' because it seems like some place one of my design-oriented friends would have (that I would be envious of, sure) but doesn't floor me and intimidate me. I guess that's a compliment!

Your fancy silhouette of chalkboard paint over the small table is fresh & fun--I like it a lot & I've gotten pretty tired of chalkboard paint in general. LOVE the color choices & the white framed art display. Very cool.

I love all of it, except the photo of the corner with instruments. It just looks a little piled up. The rest (including color) is terrific in my book.

This is the first entry that really made me smile. I love it because the occupants' personalities come through. Looks comfy, welcoming, and fun.

I need to know the brand name and color of the blue and the green wall paints you used. They are beautiful

I voted cool! I'm jealous of everyone's colored walls. How do renters get away with it? I live in a duplex next door to my landlord, so I can't exactly sneak a paint job...

Very cool indeed and what I like about it is that the place, while it has a funky, groovy vibe going for it, looks pulled together and not just random stuff in an apartment of both vintage and new items.

One of the things that works here is that the couch, a large dark brown velour sectional does not crowd the room, or so it appears in the photo like the sectional I have does. Another thing is that the section being of a solid color makes a statement while mine is of a very subtle, nondescript beige pattern that simply isn't doing a THING for me, nor makes any kind of a statement but simply being too big for my room. :-)

It's that kind of eye that is used here to good effect, getting pieces that DO work and finding other pieces to go with it. I'm sure it was not all planned and such but some of it probably came about through happenstance but still, it all appears well put together and add to that, you did a good job with the color choices, choosing colors to work with the brown pieces for an overall cohesive look.

Good job.

Well holy crap, switch your colors around, and we've got the same house!

We have a robin's egg blue living room, apple green kitchen, and yellow bedroom. Needless to say, I love your palette. And you have a great eye for artwork.

Super cool, indeed.

Yes! Quirky! Fun! Vintage! Personality! Clinic!
Man, this is great. It looks used and fitted and livable.
It looks like YOU, (whoever you are) and doens't look like a boutique hotel. LOVE IT.

I want to see more, though.
