The Shade Store is the greatest. I bought my solar shades from them. I measured and measured and then re-measured, and then when they arrived, my husband and I spent three stressful hours trying to install them. They didn't fit. The Shade couldn't have been more accomodating. On the next day, they sent a messenger (this is in NYC where they are based) to pick them up, they re-cut them, and I had them back the next day. They excell at customer service and the new shades are exactly perfect.

I had a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE with The Shade Store. Shades were supposed to take 3-5 days; they took over three weeks, and when they arrived, they were the wrong size due to an error by the customer service rep (whom I had already corrected twice). Had to haggle and harangue to get them fixed, and then had to pay an extra $100 to get them installed, because the installation guy had to come twice (once when they were wrong, once again when they were fixed). When I asked The Shade Store for a credit for the cost of the install, they told me they had already "accommodated" me by fixing their own mistake. Their shades are lovely, but I would NEVER recommend them to anyone.

They sure look great, with such shades you don't have to worry for making the wrong choice, they are perfect enough for every type of interior. I am more interested in window blinds as I have a new project for my home...

LOVE the shade store. i can't imagine anyone having a bad experience with them. customer service was INCREDIBLY patient and accommodating, even when i kept requesting free samples and asking a billion questions! i ordered blinds for 4 rooms and they all fit PERFECTLY and look AMAZING. they arrived in just a few days (much earlier than i expected). i have recommended the shade store to several friends who have all had POSITIVE experiences. i get so many compliments on the panel system. EXCELLENT quality and excellent service. i'm thrilled with my experience.

I've purchased from The Shade Store several times now, and their customer service has gone quite downhill. Twice now I've received shades with hardware missing, and black greasy handprints all over my shades. Very disappointed in their quality, and getting an answer from anyone has become impossible.

THE SHADE STORE: ABSOLUTLELY AMAZING! I just did my entire home over with new window treatments from The Shade Store: Grommet Drapery, Chilewich Roller Shades, and Relaxed Roman Shades - IT LOOKS BEAUTIFUL! The experience from start to finish was superb. Great customer service, they sent me free samples, they hooked me up with a company to Measure and Install (M&N) that went perfectly - and in just a matter of days, my home was truly transformed. What can I say, I'm so thrilled. I Never do postings, but had to w/ this experience - HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANYONE / EVERYONE TO TRY THEM, FABULOUS PRODUCT AND SERVICE!!!!

More like The Shady Store. Can't get a straight answer out of them as to the where abouts of my (late) order, nor will they allow me to cancel the order citing that "everything is made to order." I'd have been happy to deal with them had they sent my order on time as promised all over their website, but instead I'll be filing a claim with my credit card.

The Shade Store's service is wonderful and thorough.

We were at their store in SoHo this weekend and placed our third order with them as we are doing our apartement in stages. The roller shades and woven wood shades that we have all look beautiful and were delivered right on time.

The measure and installation service that was recommended was also timely and friendly.
