In a world of comparisons and contrasts,
there are shower people and bath people. We are 100% shower. We do not get
running a bath and sitting in it (other than for sore muscles and romantic interludes). We are shocked when friends say that a bath is not only as easy as a shower, it is inherently more relaxing. So the question of the day is:

I think you can be both a bath and shower person. In the mornings or after a workout, a shower is refreshing and invigorating. But for evenings and for winding down (and particularly in winter) a hot bath is so wonderfully soothing.
Sunday evening ritual is a warm bath in preperation for a busy week. Also use the time to take care of personal grooming (clip nails, mud mask, etc.)
Definitely a shower person - baths make me feel like a sitting duck, or like I'm getting ready to be cooked for someone's dinner.
I've never been able to get into baths....but I like hottubs with jets.
I like a Jacuzzi on the odd occasion, but a shower is really all I need.
LOVE a shower but
it's really hard to read a magazine there
"I've never been able to get into baths....but I like hottubs with jets."
And then afterwards, you light up a cigarette?
the only time i ever take baths is when i'm sick.
I don't like the idea of sitting in a soup of whatever I'm trying to wash off. Soaking in the tub just for fun is nice, but the shower will always win out. My husband and I have some of our best convos and think sessions in the shower together. It's always been a requirement for where we live that we have a shower big enough for two and some room.
Taking a bath is best if you take just a quick bit of shower before or after. That way all the soaping is out of the way and not dirtying up the bath water.
