Decor Era Survey

whichdecadepoll_atla.jpg

Here's a question us decor nerds love to throw around: If you could decorate and furnish your home without worry of cost or availability, from which decade/era of interior design would you most likely want your dream home furnished in? Art Deco? Mid-Century Modern? 80's Memphis Group modern? Amish chic?

The answers don't really tie to the question, do they? The question asks which decade (singular) appeals to you, but the answers (1950's - 1960's) cover TWO decades each.

Picky picky... ;->

I'd like an "anything but 80's" answer. LOL

This might have been clearer by style. I checked "pre-1930s" because my look is 1920s, but it's 1920s by way of the 1970s John Dickinson interpretation, which isn't the same as authentic 1920s.

And that puts me in the same bin with people who want Biedermeier (somewhat related to Deco), Eastlake (more related to Mission), and Rococo Revival (run screaming!).
