Since this month is all about bedrooms, let's talk about what you're doing in the privacy of your own home. No...no, not that! We're curious about whether you have a television in your bedroom, or if you keep your sanctuary of sleep (and other extracurricular activities) free from the boob tube.
Flat screen monitors and projectors allow for hidden multimedia options in the bedroom (but they're still no match for mirrors on the ceiling for thrills), and in many of small spaces, the bedroom doubles up as the living room. But there's something to be said about keeping the area where you sleep, read, and relax free from the intrusion of the modern device. How do you feel about the telly in your bedroom?
right now, there's a telly in the bedroom but as soon as the flat screen comes in, out it goes and the only tv will be in the living room. i can't wait!
I have a smallish (26") widescreen LCD TV in my bedroom. It isn't hooked up to my satellite; so I don't do any channel-surfing on it. I have it hooked up to a region-free DVD player for the occasional lazy movie night in bed. Or to watch my trashy British soaps on DVD. And, yeah, I'll admit it: because I'm a guy (and I'm gross), I use it to watch porn, too. [I occasionally write porn reviews for a couple of mags. Really.] When I'm entertaining, I'll throw on the ColorCalm "Skies" DVD for visual ambience... Don't judge me for being a cheeseball. Or a dude.
We don't have a tv in our bedroom. However I have a cheat: I keep a 12" powerbook beside my bed for occasional movies and surfing.
Ah, to actually have a bedroom!
No telly in our bedroom. We only have 1 telly anyway...
