Duffy London Chalk board coffee table

duffychalktableatla07.jpg

Chalk it up to Duffy London for coming up with one helluva interactive coffee table (think of it as an analog version of Microsoft's Milan table). The self explantory Chalk board coffee table is perfect for your resident artist, board game lover or just an easy medium to remind yourself to TIVO your favourite home decor TV show while you're busy reading AT.

Or just make your own chalkboard paint and coat your favourite salvaged/flea market find.

The scratching of items being placed on the table may have me looking for an alternative. How about a dry erase table?

goodnight: You're not being a negative nancy...you're just stating your personal taste/preference in decor.

Many of my artist and designer friends would love a coffee table they could draw and erase without worry, including myself (sans kids here). All those adults you see at restaurants doodling with crayons on parchment paper covered tables? They might see the appeal too. Potatoes, pota-tuhs~

I love this! It would be a lot of fun at low key type parties, or just hanging out bored at home....glass of wine, impromptu hangman game....

I've already painted my coffee table black, and distressed it so I won't care who puts their feet on it (I know, defeatist attitude)--I'm tempted to do this, now.

I really like this too, but I'd love a black dry erase board with color markers even more! Maybe it'd be better if there was a top you could put over it when you wanted to use it as an actual coffee table and not get ink or chalk all over everything.
