Fractal 23: Near Endless Storage

atla051308fractal01.jpgTakeshi Miyakawa's cube shaped storage solution is just an art project, but we bet the Fractal 23 as it is called, would do pretty well as a consumer piece. But as noted by others, the problem inherent with this design is that it needs to be placed in an area where all four sides are easily accessible and allow for the drawers to open. Otherwise, it's one heckuva conversation piece. Another couple of photos under the jump...

Does it rotate? If it were placed on a lazy-susan style device, it could work well pretty much anywhere. I'd love something like this for my sewing room, under the ironing table!

Very nice! Would love to see something painted on it. Or possibly wallpapered?

great comment on the dvice site:
You're thinking all wrong for this. Put a big slab of marble or something on top of it and make it an island for a kitchen.
