Rotating Top Skateboard Table

We recently stopped by Los Feliz design top shop SHOW to check out what new goodies proprietor Brad Cook had in his showroom for us to oggle. And oggle with envy we sure did when we set our eyes upon this humorous, yet stylish, take on the lazy susan. Fashioned out of real skateboard trucks and wheels, this coffee table's glass top spins...no glides...with utter ease ontop. Skate or to die for.

We're really tempted to make our own DIY budget version one day, since we have a few skateboard trucks readily available. Seems like the perfect solution for group dining and also for board game evenings! For more information, contact SHOW.

I saw this table the last time I was in SHOW about a month ago. I think it was the only piece in the store that I kinda hated. It just seems clunky, gimmicky and too young-end targetted. I don't know many people (ahem) my age who would appreciate that table.
