Round Up: Red Accent Tables

atla-021408-redroundup.jpgValentine's Day might have come and gone, but we've still got red on our brain. It's one of our favorite colors. We think a touch of red is always welcome, especially in an accent table. We love a tiny table's usefulness -- for holding a drink, a cup of tea, or our laptop -- the way we prefer a tiny token of love. Some of these we've blogged before, but here's a list of our favorite red accent tables...

Ikea has a great storage table that I've been thinking about painting chinese lacquered red. Depending on whether you'd want to conceal what is stored inside, or embrace the airy basket-like alternative to a traditional table, it could be 'lined' with thin plywood, mirrors, fabric, whathave you for an added dimensional texture or color. I think the red would make this a great chinoisserie piece.

The Ergo drinking table in "lobster red" doesn't actually look red in person. It is actually like a burnt orange colour.
