Tree Stump Tables

09_07bleachedstump.jpg

We got a tip the other day that Kate Cunningham, sculptor has begun to release her tables for sale to the general public instead of just to the trade. Though the natural stained pieces sort of flash us back to our parent's Fleetwood Mac/ macrame days, there is something very chic about the bleached pieces she offers. From her site :The tree stump tables

are one of a kind. Each piece is hand-sculpted in the USA from a wide variety of already felled, reclaimed American trees. They are air-cured for a minimum of one to three years. Only earth-friendly and non-toxic stains, sealers and waxes are used in the finishing process.

no word on cost on the site. Based on information that they are air cured for a minimum of 1-3 years...I'm guessing a lot
