Tiles for the Weekend: Popham Designs

072508_tiles.jpgWe're having a real tile moment this week and couldn't resist leaving you all with these images for the weekend. What makes these so special (besides being beautiful, you ask) is that all of these pictures are from one house. This is a house where someone lives, all the time. Sigh. Find out where to buy these tiles and who lives in the house:

The designers behind Popham Designs are basically living the dream. Not only are they the ones who live in this gorgeous house but:

"Caitlin and Samuel Dowe-Sandes lived and worked in New York and Los Angeles for over a decade before moving to Marrakech in June 2006. Samuel, a filmmaker, and Caitlin, a public relations executive specializing in design businesses, fantasized for some time about living in an exotic place together and starting a creative venture. The move to Marrakech delivered on both of those promises."

Wow, sign us up--live in an exotic place making beautiful things. Buy these tiles through Ann Sacks or just drool over the pictures here.

IF nothing else, these two certainly are good at self-promotion. Time wrote about their NYC place back in 1997.

Some restraint would be nice.

Who could afford these tiles from Ann Sacks?

I do like the look----but it would take a great eye to carry this off for most people----fabric is hard enough!
