Stripped Screws? Screw That! The Grabit Screw Extractor

screwextractor_atla120307.jpgWe're no prudes, but when it comes to our screws, we really, really hate stripped screws. We're bummed out we didn't know about the Grabit Screw Extractor before...would have saved us from many expletive-filled outbursts in the past. The handy-dandy toolkit works with a drill to first clean/burnish, then extract the offending screw, solving a common problem with stripped brass screws, but also poorly manufactured hard metals.

This is not exactly new. It's called an easy out and it's available without the marketing campaign at any hardware store for 2 or 3 bucks.
