Trending: Innovative Wallpaper Designs

We know wallpaper has been a trend for some time, but we thought is was time to feature some new wallpapers and companies that are designing some really innovative papers that have caught our eyes recently...

One of the newest companies to hit the internet is FrenchAmerican, a new LA based wallpaper design company that features these beautiful “chinausem” prints (not to mention they also sell coordinating fabrics). We also like these retro/abstract designs called Rialto Grille.

Graham and Brown recently came out with these modern papers from national acclaimed architect/interior designer Marcel Wanders. The prices are pretty affordable and the designs are ultra chic! We love this classic paper, and agree that these papers are more masculine for the ultimate bachelor client or someone who appreciates darker colors.

Check out the new papers coming out from Ferm Living, we love these new color and design combinations. Oh and if you caught the movie I Love You Man, and wondered where the bedroom wallpaper was from, it from Ferm Living also!

If you are a designer (or are working with an interior designer) you can purchase these hand painted papers at from Poter Teleo. You might be familiar with the ink blots that were featured in Vogue from Kelly Wearstler’s home.

We also came across these modern styles from Hygge and West, a design firm located in Brooklyn. We love these papers that we could easily see in a bathroom or an entry way.

If you’re still looking for more ideas and live in Los Angeles, you can find a large selection of other paper at Walnut Wallpaper. Or you can certainly order them online at each of the websites. If we forgot a line, let us know in the comments section or please share your home images with us!

"Trending" is a weekly report from Vanessa De Vargas, owner of Turquoise, a Los Angeles furniture and interior decor business.

there's so many gorgeous, graphic wallpapers! unfortunately, after just removing wallpaper in our new house, I'm reluctant to put anything up- regardless of how cute!

I watched I Love You Man during a first class upgrade on a plane and laughed so hard I am sure I am banned for life! It really made me want to go to a Rush concert.

The following link has a picture of the best looking wallpaper I have seen in a while. Does anyone have any idea who makes it, or where I can get it? Thanks!

LoriSF -thanks for the other suggestions!

diamongdg -that space was designed by http://www.heiditolldesign.com/
You may want to ask the designer? Looks like a custom print.

luckypeach, not sure what my E-Decor service has to do with this wallpaper post. But hey thanks for the spike in my traffic, totally appreciate it.

surprisingly, i found quite a few cool patterned wallpapers at target.com. the barbara hulanicki ones are especially cool (one pattern in particular was similar to dave navarro's wall).
