Tony Fasciano is a documentary filmmaker who works on two laptops and a desktop in his home editing office. The set-up makes it possible for Tony to multitask, "I can play music through one laptop, check email, or watch Netflix, while the others are rendering or processing." The set-up also requires a lot of desk space, so Tony hacked together the perfect desk, which he's named the Fasciano Desk, that can handle all his gear during business hours and be minimized after work...

I've seen a lot of multi-Mac setups (I use one myself) and was always vexed by the multitude of keyboards and mice. But there's a solution I stumbled upon a while back called Teleport that lets you control several computers with a single keyboard and mouse. The setup is similar to working with multiple monitors and everyone who I've introduced it to loves it! Best of all it's free: http://abyssoft.com/software/teleport/
FYI - I'm not associated in anyway with the Teleport folks. I just found it to be a blessing in trying to ease my desktop clutter that I must share whenever I see multi-Mac setups.
