Designer Martin Ballendat designed the L@p chair to be used in hotels and other public spaces where traveling laptop users could park themselves to relax in a lobby, enjoy some (hopefully) free wi-fi and check on their bulging email inbox in the comforts of a sculptural seat that provides a natural spot for your laptop. We imagine these would be fantastic in a weather proofed outdoor version for backyard/balcony use...

I like the idea of chairs like this as they provide you with your own 'bubble' and the swivel base means unrestricted movement. I personally however prefer the Innovation C from BlaStation - http://www.blastation.se/WebModules/ProductsManager/ShowProduct.aspx?categoryId=1&productInfoId=3
