apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Flat Flowers

031308_flowers.jpgA huge part of the Cure is buying your apartment flowers. The aliveness of them helps breathe life into forgotten areas of our living spaces and reminds us to keep flat surfaces cleared off so that there is room to put a vase down. In contrast we found these very un-alive flowers but are just as charmed:

They're a flat sticker that you can adhere to a window or a wall and they'll keep flowers in sight all year. Get them from Dutch by design

Those are great! I like this idea. I have cats who like to perch on the window sill, so I cannot keep real plants there- they'll get eaten!

Lifelike is nice but actually alive would be better. You could even grow your own flowers (sunflowers are really easy) and you would have the visual impact and they would help improve the indoor air quality.

@badhuman - actually, if you're allergic you'd ruin the indoor air quality ;)
