When I think of wallpaper borders I think of geese and blue ribbons. But flipping through the latest Kitchen and Bath magazine I came across these vintage papers that might actually be kitsch enough to be cool. At the very least they could be framed or used as wrapping paper.

NO GOD, NOT WALLPAPER BORDERS AGAIN!!! HAVEN'T WE ALL SPENT ENOUGH TIME STRIPPING OLD BORDERS FROM OUR HOMES!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO.....................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha, nice bball, I guess you've had a bad experience! So sorry to hear that, wipe the idea of borders right out of your mind!

I'd frame it or mount it to poster board and hang it as art. Unfortunately the 80s are back in style again and that means the return of tacky wallpaper borders.

I worked for my dad's paint/paper store through the 80's and remember well the border craze that ensued, and admit that I was partly to blame for the multiples of co-ordinating paper/border/fabric decorated rooms that proliferated in our small town...but I've come to see the error of my ways, and make it a point to never..NEVER let this atrocity happen again....as god is my witness!!!
