Dotted along the main road are tasting rooms that are mostly built in the craftsman style. The tasting rooms are typically decorated in a simple manner and the layout is to showcase the wine but they all seem to keep the integrity of the craftsman structure.
A little drive will take you through the winding roads to the larger wineries and vineyards like Firestone and Fess Parker. Plus if you want to check out more wine country, head just a few miles to Buellton or Solvang (where the popular movie “Sideways” was filmed). These larger wineries offer a range of home decor in the spirit of wine and enjoying wine.
In a town with rich heritage, very friendly people, amazing rolling hills and mountains, Los Olivos is truly a perfect weekend escape. For more information on Los Olivios wineries and accessories, click here and here.

I grew up in Santa Barbara and boarded my horse in Los Olivos, many happy family night Sunday dinners at Mattei's Tavern built in late 1800's one of the stagecoach stops, next one is Cold Springs Tavern.
