Without pruning, apple trees bear no fruit.
We really took that to heart over the past six months as we planned for this redesign. We wanted to prune, simplify and provide room for growth. In this, our 2nd redesign since 2004, we've made one BIG change: we've combined all of our home design sites into one site and given our other four categories, cooking, children, tech and green, their own homes with room to grow:
The Nursery is now ohdeedoh.com
The Kitchen is now thekitchn.com
Home Tech is now unplggd.com
Green Home is now re-nest.com
Some parts are still under construction, but there's a lot new to see, so take a look around.

I feel like the page is more cluttered. I also feel like I'm seeing more advertising.

Whatever you do, don't take the banner off the top of the page that links to all the other sites. I like to click back and forth between all the AT sites during the day, and the top of the page banner makes it easy.
Also agree that it looks more cluttered, but that might just be a natural aversion to change. :)

I think the main page looks awesome, but these pages with peoples' comments do look a bit more cluttered...but so far, so good!

I don't like it.

I like it. Happy to see all the city-posts in one page instead of their own separate sites. For some reason I don't see any ads. But maybe I shouldn't mention that bug.

Finally nice to have pages to view older content when i have missed out on posts.
Also like the bigger images.

Firefox Adblock Plus = better
I'm SOOO happy that I can view older posts in the regular page and not item by item as before, BIG improvement.
