Whim by Cynthia Rowley for Target

042808_cunthia.jpgTurns out Target is expanding their lines of budget friendly wares designed by high fashion designers. This time it's Cynthia Rowley and perfect for outdoor living and summertime.

We really like the madras print products like the Tablecloth for $9.99 and the ice bucket all set off by the crisp white of the woven serving baskets also for $9.99. And if you're in need of a new umbrella, try a a set of 2 for $29.98.

See the full line of Whim By Cynthia Rowley on the Target Website.

Cute! But their website is a little messed up right now.

Cute, although I can not imagine who will buy this. Too cute for adults and we all know teenagers wouldn't be interested in a beach umbrella.

So glad to see she is back to designing for Target. What she and Eilene Rosenzweig did with their Swell line was such a fun and fresh way to perk up the home without spending a mint. Looking forward to more collections from the Whim line.

I think this is great, and if the beach isn't the perfect place to inject some fun and cutesy-ness into my life, then I don't know where. I'm getting the umbrellas and the tablecloth to use as a beach blanket. I think me and the guys will look adorable under it.

Any chance we could get a cute bistro set roundup? I know a lot of us ATLAers have small patios/balconies.

I stopped by my local Target - BKLYN, Atlantic Center - last night after work and was amazed by the size of the Whim collection. Online posts and the target.com offerings would have you believe that it is limited to a few items, but there are actually loads of different picnic/yard related items all with these madras/woven/rope patterns. 3 whole aisles with end caps loaded with stuff!
