Hey, this is really neat! I teach 3 and 4 year olds and I'm going to try this with them in the fall-- with their name and favorite things as the words-- sure to be a hit. Thanks.

Oh, I'm having so much fun with this. This is going to be really useful in my work as an expressive therapist. Right now, I'm just playing with the pretty colors and fonts using my blog address. The last one that came up said "normal-sized lesbians" over in the corner. Hee.

Do you have to save your image to the gallery in order to have access to the e-file? I'm feeling a bit dunce-like at my inability to save to my computer!

EmmaC, if you hit print it should bring up the standard printing window and from there you can save it as a PDF (or print it as a PDF, depending on what kind of computer you use).

emma, press the print screen button on your pc (I don't know in mac) and paste it on a program like photoshop, or even paint and then save it as an image file, good luck!

This is awesome. I'm having so much fun that I can't think of a more dynamic word than awesome! This is what I did: title="Wordle: Take Care Tonight"> src="http://wordle.net/thumb/wrdl/70484/Take_Care_Tonight"
style="padding:4px;border:1px solid #ddd"

Ahh...."print screen" button! Brilliant! I'm on a PC and don't have a 'print as .pdf' button--the FAQ page on the Worldle website says you can download a plugin for that. I'm thinking a screen shot will suit me just fine.

Thanks, guys!

I did this with lyrics from my favorite songs, and the prints are now hanging in my bedroom.

Two quick notes:
1) If you're on a Mac, the program is called Grab and it's in your Utilities folder. You can do a screen shot, window shot, or you can draw a box of your own. Much more versatile than PrintScreen. It creates a tiff, which you can then play with in PhotoShop.
2) If you put a ~ (tilda) between words, Wordle reads them as being one word, so you can keep things together if you want.

This is amazing!! I want to make them for everyone now. Oh, and if you want to make certain words larger than others, you just type it in more times - so if you type in something 3 times then it will appear 3 times larger than anything else.
