Laboratory-inspired kitchens and bathrooms take that ultra-organized, sterile atmosphere and bring a bit of it into the home. This can be achieved through finishes (like hygienic stainless steel), fixtures (like industrial faucets or apothecary storage cabinets), and accessories (like lab glass containers).

What I really want to know is, how do these kitchens get away with having no extractor fan above the stove? And isn't there a nasty, greasy buildup on the shelf above? I would kill to be able to get rid of my extractor, but I just can't imagine life without it, or rather I can, in gross detail. What am I missing?
I do covet that dental cabinet.
Those sliding glass panels are the coolest thing I've ever seen.
I love the aesthetic in no. 4. Although my chemist husband would probably respond with some choice pieces from my (ugly) workplace...
@very miao, i can't tell in no. 4, but maybe they have a downdraft vent?
I'm really loving this look. Very cool.

maybe they don't eat/cook meat...or at least don't cook meat on the burners.

Well that makes sense, because doing, say, a vegetable stir fry in seseame oil doesn't release any particulate grease. It's all caught mid-air and bourne away by diligent little eco-fairies.
glad I'm not the only one who uses chemistry glassware in my bathroom! my friends always laugh at me! =)
@travelingrory - Ooh! I had no idea they existed!
