We loved seeing Eleanor's nursery, but of course we all know that a baby's things end up all around the house. Nicole of Making It Lovely (and finalist in the Homies) found an elegant and inexpensive container for housing some of Eleanor's toys and baby things in the living room that fits right in with the rest of her lovely home.
We remember when a version of these baskets came out a few years ago as bicycle baskets so we're glad for the tip that you can now find a white or black one at the Container Store (and cheaper at $25).
You can find Nicole at Making It Lovely - we look forward to watching Eleanor and their home change over the years!

Shaw's Original Fir...
I use one of these for my dog's toys, too, since they also have a way of ending up all over the house.
We picked up a couple in black for the same use. From across the room they look like cute little iron lace baskets. It's a flexible plastic, which we hope will hold up well with our little guy dumping toys out on the floor and such.

We're the same as afterParis, dog toys get strewn everywhere about the house but it's so easy to chuck them all into a basket or container especially for them. I only hope when we have kiddies that there will be separate boxes for them and they won't share toys, as much the the dogs will want to!

I have the bicycle basket. The "lace" rips really easily. Bummer.
So pretty! I'd love these for my bathroom.
$25? Wish I lived in other countries. A boutique here sold the bicycle baskets for $150, got mine 'on special' for $75.
Solid as a rock though, doesn't seem like it would rip - mine must be different from avimom's?
Rayna: The bicycle basket (which I'm almost certain is what you bought), is larger and sells for $80 . The version at the US-based Container Store is a smaller "shopping" version. $25 for it is still incredibly cheap considering other stores sell that version for $50-60. If only they sold it in green though!
