The newest edition to LaCie's hard drive lineup is the Internet Space 2. The 1TB drive is designed by Neil Poulton, whose other work with LaCie includes the sharp looking Sound2 speakers. The clean sleek design of the Internet Space 2 is quite similar to the hard drives designed by, continuing Poulton's signature style for LaCie introduced last year.

We love the clean lines and the gorgeous glossy surface. This well designed device would look great on our desk and is one hard drive that we would not feel the need to hide.

The Internet Space 2, is a network hard drive because it offers the possibility to access the drive's content remotely from anywhere by logging on to www.homelacie.com. The drive also includes the DesktopMirror software which automatically back ups and synchronizes the data on your computer. The Internet Space 2 offers transfer rates in Ethernet of 30MB/s instead of 10MB/s on the previous version. It supports UPnP/DLNA.

The Internet Space 2 is available in 1TB at the price of around $269. For more information, check out LaCie.
