Having been trendy for quite some time, lacquered boxes and trays seem to be everywhere — but with some running upwards of two hundred dollars or more, they can seem quite unattainable. In the past few years, Jonathan Adler and West Elm have been producing lacquered pieces that are way more affordable, but I was happy to find other retailers that are making less costly accessories as well. I'm particularly obsessed with Tsubota Pearl's Stick Lighters with a lacquer finish — and for under $40, each of these lacquered lovelies are worth getting excited about.

Lacquer paint ! I renovated an "armoire" from my youth with Tollens Lacquer Paint (it's available here in France, I don't know about the US). It has this beautiful finish and so far, survived my 11 months old son. It's quite costly though, but I have the furniture I dreamt of for about 80 euros, which is much less than you usual lacquer furniture.
Love those lighters! I just bought the blue one for my kitchen which perfectly matches my blue Le Creuset French oven AND my Kitchen-Aid mixer. Thanks for the round up!
