Getting into the right position to work on your laptop is not always easy. In a small space, like ours, we often find ourselves working from the couch or the floor. Sure a chair built for laptop use would be grand, but who has the space? When we spotted this interesting modular furniture concept we were immediately struck by how perfectly it would meet the needs of a small space.
The Land Peel by Shin Yamashita, an industrial design student from the Kyoto Institute of Technology, Japan, is a very neat and unique furniture unit that is comprised of a flat three-piece mat set. This mat set opens and folds to create a desk, seat or backrest, perfect for transforming play space into workspace. We love the versatility of the Land Peel and that when not in use it folds flat making it easy to store and transport.
Out of all of the floor laptop desk solutions we love the Land Peel the most and we hope it makes it's way into production soon.
Would you buy the Land Peel?
