We were perusing the net and came across Crave's review of eight laptop coolers. With a molten laptop sitting in our laps, we couldn't pass it up. We actually own one of the laptop cooler's reviewed but hate using because of the fan noise. So we were intrigued to see that the Xpad Laptop Desk, which cools by its design alone, outperformed the fan models.

We were also impressed with the Belkin Laptop Cooling Stand and its sleek design.
What do you think of the reviews? What do you use to cool your laptop?

i use the targus traveler coolpad (http://www.amazon.com/Targus-PA239U-Traveler-CoolPad/dp/B00006HYPV/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/102-1075726-3520914?ie=UTF8
A simple and cheap solution for laptop coolers is an upside down cookie sheet. I bought an expesive laptop holder and found the angle of the stand uncomfortable. A cookie sheet disperses the heat equally well (cookie side down) and is remarkably comfortable!
I would swear I read a post on one of the AT sites about a high density foam laptop holder. It came in orange, green and grey and, probably mistaken here but I thought it was manufactured by Belkin. Does anyone remember this? I can't find it anywhere.
Here's the link you asked for, Martybird.
