Amber of Giver's Log devised this and provides a template you can download. She suggests creating a sticky note calendar on a wall or putting the individual notes on treats (perhaps even to include in your kids' lunches). One of her readers summed up the virtues of this easy advent calendar best: "I’ve seen so many crafty versions of the Advent calendar lately–and all require sewing, large purchases, or large amounts of time. But sticky notes? I can get down with that."
