We all love found furniture, probably because we can see the potential in every abandoned piece of 'junk'.
But Miles Coolidge has gone a step further and made those abandoned pieces the subject of his photographs. Known for his conceptual photography, this exhibit at Acme on Wilshire is no exception. The photographs speak about LA, our system of roads, our landscape and the nature of our 'street' culture. Also, they're pretty charming pictures of furniture left on the sidewalk facing their fate. The show closes on Saturday, check it out while it's still up.
