- What I Love About My Small Home:
- I love my big living room, with its real wood floor, its garland pendant, shelves for my cat Carlota, and cozy balcony.
- Biggest Challenge of Living in a Small Space
- The biggest challenge was how to make the place look bigger and not claustrophobic. We solved it by opening one of the bedrooms to the living room, as well as making this big window to the kitchen and having just a few pieces of furniture. We also chose lower furniture, like the couch, the TV table, and the tiny fridge, wich gives the feeling of more space.

I love your condo. What a fantastic use of your small space.
Love the built-in in your office!
Love the wall color in the living room!
Too many blank walls.
Why do you have a cabinet and a bookshelf lined up right next to each other on the wall? I don't quite get the use of the space here, especially in the living room area.
Brasil-sil-sil!!!
I agree with reeses902, there`s too little art in your walls, no curtains, and the colours are too bland, in spite of the painted walls. And too much built-ins...
@Nonie: some people in Brazil have a regular fridge in the kitchen and a little fridge (we call it "frigobar") for the parties. Most people have a simple plastic cooler, maybe because a fridge like that costs about US$ 400 (about 1,5 brazilian minimun wages). Still, I LOVED the mini-penguin on top of the mini-fridge :)
Envying Laura`s big balcony right now... rare thing.
Hi guys, thank you for all the coments and "likes"!
@bfergie13, the bookshelf is something my husband brought with him when we moved together, and I hate it, kkkkk...
@Reeses902 I agree about the blank walls, but I prefer "cleaner" places...
@rizkmichelle Thank you for the explanations! (a geladeirinha foi presente dos padrinhos queridos, hehe)
I love the wood tiles that you have out on the balcony. Is it a single piece, or actual separate squares? Did you make them yourselves or buy them? I'd love to do this on mine!
Hi @aurorava ! Those are separate squares, easy to find in homecenteres here in Brazil...
Laura,
Seu Ap é uma graça! Sempre acompanho o seu blog.Estamos bem representados! Boa sorte!
Yay, an entry from my home country! Boa sorte, Laura!
I like the 2 different book shelves side by side, I just don't like the brown one. I think you could do more with your bedroom. I like the livingroom/kitchenette though.
