We are home proud because we did everything ourselves with a small budget and a small place - 750sqt. Our style is contemporary chic with a twist and our inspirations are blogs , magazines and tv shows.
I love decorating. It's my passion and I always have a new idea to do. I'm from Quebec, Canada and decoration is big there. I worked for 6 years in a decor store. When I moved to Maine, I was a little lost as contemporary style is more rare here .
So my husband and I decided to build almost half of our furniture. Throught the process, my husband realized how much he enjoyed making furniture. Hope you like our apartment!

Love it! Wow, you have a 2 bedroom? I have ~800 square feet but only one bedroom.
I've been looking for some great backsplash ideas for my black and white kitchen and looked at tile similar to yours. Much easier to envision now.
Génial! Je viens du Maine mais j'habite présentement à Québec. Tu as raison, le style typique du Maine est loin de chic, alors ça fait plaisir de voir un appartement plus urbain qui vient de là. En tout cas, vous avez créé un très bel espace... et j'adore la tête de lit!

I've seen many mixtures of black and yellow on AT, but this one is by far the best!! So calming and clean and chic! I also love your bathroom. Great job!!!
I usually like a little more color, even in monochromatic designs, but this is so delightful! Very elegant and warm!
The bad: I could have done without the staging in the photos *shrugs*
The good: The color scheme is amazing! I also like how cohesive the furniture is. Is that a hacked Malm? Lurve it.

I really like the kitchen and tile and the bathroom - despite being small appears comfortable - but why so many mirrors in the living room rather than framed photos or art?

Almost of my accessories are from HomesGood.
I love mirror it's good way to add brightness , light and it's more cheap of art.
My walpaper et and my mosaic tiles are from Lowes.
And yes I have windows I send just a few picutres of my app .
