Q: I'm stuck on the best way to layout furniture in a very angular living space. I haven't yet moved in and am starting to look for furniture so it really is a fresh start! The kitchen/living/dining rooms have 10 ft ceilings and the counter behind the sink in the kitchen is actually a bar top that looks onto the living/dining area. I'm considering forgoing a formal dining area in favor of bar stools at the kitchen counter. The 19' living room wall is nearly all windows with a wide ledge that runs the length of the wall.
How do I best deal with the sharp corners, especially the one at the back of the living room? I love the big windows, high ceilings and opening feeling and am stuck on how to keep that vibe. I've looked at similar "triangle" living room questions and the window/door placements in other plans make it hard to adapt the advice. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
