Maya Marzolf, a former fashion photography producer, opened Le Grenier in May. The store exudes a friendly neighborhood vibe and it's a fun place to browse. We headed over to check it out on lazy Sunday afternoon...

The emphasis of the store is a mix of rustic and industrial antiques with a few contemporary housewares thrown in such as the Thomas Paul pillows. The price point seems reasonable for New York antiques. We're huge thrift store shoppers and we know the work that goes into sourcing antiques! The good stuff is hard to find. Our favorite thing in the store? Had to be the handwritten invitation to play a game of croquet in the garden.

Is there a store like this in LA? Please?
I absolutely love Le Grenier! It is such an amazing collection of beautiful wood, metal, and glass antiques. Each item is a piece of history and also seem timeless in their own right. And there is also a beautiful garden out back! It's the kind of store I want to live in it, not just shop. And there is nothing in the neighborhood!
This is one of my favorite passtimes. I love to browse these types of stores (this one looks great!). Now...if I could leave without buying....
oops! Pastimes....wish this site would allow editing or deleting wrong spellings and such.
