- What I Love About My Small Home:
- The one large window. I lived in a basement unit for two years prior to moving into this place and I didn't realize how much I actually missed a view until I moved in here.
- Biggest Challenge of Living in a Small Space
- When I moved in I only had my desk, office chair and bed. I made good use of my measuring tape and enjoyed playing 'Furniture Tetris' Beyond that I never did have much trouble adjusting to the size.

Adorable! :-)
Nice division of space but why is the monitor at the foot of your bed rather than on the desk next to it? Looks like it would be too low to view comfortably.
Love the coffee table!
IKEA needs to hire you!
High five! Canada represent. :)
Truly impressed with how much you managed to get into this space. Well done!
This is where I want to live. In your apartment. I think we should be best friends, and you can decorate mine! Beautiful and tiny and a place for everything.
Expedit is apparently the best small space solution known to man. I agree, and am TOTALLY ok with that.
Nice! I would love to know where you got that mirror.
Love the coffee table! Is that also from ikea? :)
I love this space! Well done :)
I love every piece of furniture you have in your house... can we swap?? you might have travel a bit tho - I live in India! :)
So clean and cozy! Need that tall mirror in my life!!
Nice!
Ikearific! :)
Great cozy-pretty home, like it a lot!
Nothing wrong with Ikea. It's how you work it.
Well I knew I wouldn't be able to disguise the Ikea catalogue from anyone here. I put the TV at the foot of the bed because the cable line comes out by the headboard, I would have loved to have the TV on the desk beside it but I couldn't fathom how to avoid having cable wires everywhere (rental). It works though since I don't generally watch it while I'm in the bed.
Everything else is from Ikea, except for the L shaped computer desk, that was from The Brick.
Well the apartment looks great! Love it!
Ikea should be paying you endorsement fees.
Like the IKEA pieces, they're a must! Very charming small place.
i love your room color palette!!! i hate the cowboy hat :( but i love the rest of your apartment.
@janetsita - the cowboy hat is iconic calgary. see: calgary stampede.
amazing how funcitonal this is, love the comment "ikea needs to hire you"!!! indeed!
